This article provides the solution to an issue you may encounter when clicking the (previously) bookmarked link to load the GFI Archiver web page after upgrading from an older version.

Information

After upgrading from an older version, the existing browser bookmarks fail to load the GFI Archiver web page. Loading the page hangs on the previous versions start-up screen, or the following error is displayed:

Archiver UI framework did not find the requested page. Please check the URL and try again.

This issue occurs when files cached within the browser are referring to the previous version of GFI Archiver before the upgrade.

Process

To fix this issue, clear the browser's cookies, temporary Internet files, and cache. These are the default URLs to access the GFI Archiver web page:

• http://server/MailArchiver
• http://server/Archiver
